It's now even easier to seamlessly book flights on American through a codeshare agreement, which allows each airline to sell seats on flights operated by the other carrier. We're now selling flights operated by American for travel across our combined network.
We no longer offer codeshare flights with United Airlines, and we have discontinued codeshare flights with All Nippon, Asiana Airlines, Brussels Airlines, Croatia Airlines, Lufthansa and SWISS as a result of our exit from Star Alliance on March 30, 2014–you won't earn miles for flights on these carriers after that date. We will continue our relationships with many airlines, which means you'll still be able to earn miles on select partners.

Qatar Airways is the flag carrier airline of Qatar, based in Doha. Our codeshare agreement with Qatar Airways expands our presence in the Middle East, with convenient connections through Europe.
Royal Jordanian took to the skies in 1963 with service to three cities. Service to New York was introduced in 1977, and Chicago followed in 1981. Today, Royal Jordanian serves more than 50 cities in the Middle East, Africa, Europe, America and Asia.
Established in 1976 with the commitment to delight customers with excellent service, TAM has been a leader in Brazilian aviation since 2003. TAM flies to 45 destinations in Brazil.
Aegean Airlines began scheduled passenger operations in May 1999 and currently operates 35 international routes, and 24 domestic routes within Greece. US Airways offers codeshare flights beyond Athens to various Greek destinations. Aegean Airlines offers codeshare flights on US Airways seasonal service between Philadelphia and Athens, as well as U.S. destinations beyond Philadelphia.
Air China Limited, headquartered in Beijing, was founded in 1988. Air China flies to 156 destinations in 32 counties and districts.
Air New Zealand
Air New Zealand was founded in 1940. New Zealand's national carrier, Air New Zealand serves 45 cities in 15 countries, including 25 domestic destinations. Air New Zealand provides codeshare connecting services via Los Angeles, San Francisco and Honolulu to many destinations New Zealand, Australia and the South Pacific. Our partnership with Air New Zealand is active until June 29, 2014.
Avianca was founded in 1919 as the first commercial airline in Latin America and second in the world. Headquartered in Bogota, Colombia, Avianca operates about 300 flights daily to destinations within Colombia and to the Americas and Europe. Avianca enhances our network with frequent flights from the United States to points in Colombia. Our partnership with Avianca is active until May 31, 2014.
EVA Air is world-renowned for its innovative amenities and focus on customer service. Based in Taipei, Taiwan, EVA Air serves Asia from North America and Europe, offering four classes of service. Under the codeshare agreement, EVA passengers traveling through Los Angeles and San Francisco can easily connect to US Airways' Phoenix hub. Our partnership with EVA Air is active until May 14, 2014.

Singapore Airlines, headquartered in Singapore, was founded in 1947 as Malayan Airways. Today, it is Singapore's national airline and flies to 65 destinations throughout Asia, Europe, Oceania and the United States. South African Airways
South African Airways (SAA) was founded in 1934 and is South Africa's flag carrier. SAA flies to 38 destinations worldwide, including New York (JFK) and Washington, DC (IAD). Within Africa, SAA serves Cape Town, Port Elizabeth, East London and Durban, as well as a dozen cities in Southern Africa. SAA has a modern fleet of 54 aircraft.
TAP Portugal, based in Lisbon, was established in 1945 and is Portugal's leading airline. Its current network includes 42 destinations in 25 countries in Europe, Africa, and North, Central and South America.
Turkish Airlines, Turkey's national flag carrier, was founded in 1933 and flies 155 aircraft from hubs in Istanbul and Ankara. Turkish Airlines joined the Star Alliance network in April 2008 and has been chosen as the best airline of Southern Europe twice since then (2009 and 2010). US Airways' codeshare with Turkish Airlines gives passengers greater access to Turkey and all of Europe.
Our codeshare with Winair is temporarily suspended because of FAA restrictions for the Netherlands Antilles.
Windward Islands Airways, more commonly known as Winair, is a government-owned regional airline founded in 1961 and based in the Netherlands Antilles. Winair offers daily connections from St. Maarten and Antigua to destinations in the northeastern Caribbean, including Nevis and Saba.
